Trutone Electronics is currently looking for an Audio Visual Installation Technician. Experience in AV installation minimum of 5 years. The candidate should have a valid Ontario driver license, Ontario Working at Heights training and WHMIS. Candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs, carry a ladder, and climb stairs. Candidate will lead the installation of a projects.

Position is a full time and may be required to travel within Ontario.
Requirements:
- +5 Years of experience in AV installation
- Excellent Communication skills
- Must be able to manage projects and report to department manager
- Must be able to complete a site survey in detail. Communicate clearly with end-user, sales department and department manager.
- Must possess exceptional trouble shooting skills
- Must be able to train other installers
- Must be able to climb ladders up to 20’ high
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Large selection of tools to complete almost any job (Drills, Fish poles, laser level, large bubble level, saw, etc.)
- Valid Ontario driver license, Clean Driver’s license a Plus
- Must be able to complete the following software services:
- ARC (Athem Room Correction) calibrations
- DiRac calibrations
- Audessey calibrations
- Harmony remote setup
- URC remote setup
- Must be able to install and configure IP camera system
- Must be able to setup and configure network system
- Must be able to do extensive configuration on a Control4, Lutron system
- Must completed PCNA skill set
- Must be able to work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces
- Highly reliable, always show up to work on time. Have a high ethical standards and able to work independently as well as with others.
